sweepingoar
I followed the guide to install iPC 10.5.6 on an Inspiron 600m. It all seems to work well enough, but I've got two issues. First of all, I can't get sleep to work at all. It just freezes when I select sleep. Has anyone gotten sleep working on this hardware? I know sleep won't work with this machine on Ubuntu, but I was hoping this might work. Secondly, in the guide it was suggested that the lines: <key>Graphics Mode</key> <string>1400×1050×32</string> are added to the file: /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist That doesn't seem to work either. Any suggestion on getting better resolution? Finally, someone mentioned that switching the wireless card for the Broadcom wireless wifi B/G mini pci card BCM4318 one will make wireless work. Anyone know if that's accurate?
Markrtoon
Do you have your graphic card drivers installed? And as far as wifi. Type "sudo" and add a space, and drag this into the terminal window. http://cl.ly/1L2o4103143B1D0M0Y0c Unzip it first.

Following the guide at http://milkmanblog.wordpress.com/, During install I selected "AGPGart 2.7.1" under graphics. Thanks for the broadcom driver link. I guess that means it's worth buying that card for $10 off ebay. Now if only I could get sleep to work, I'd be really happy.
