Dell Latitude D630 w/Intel x3100 - can't get CI/QE and native resolution to work

I've been struggling for over a month trying to get the graphics working on 10.6.5. I did a fresh install and used a Kext pack from InfiniteMac OSX86. Everything was working well up through 10.6.3 but as of 10.6.4 and now 10.6.5 I can't get CI/QE working. Basically, if I leave the installed AppleIntelGMAX3100 kexts I get a messed up screen (see attached). If I delete them I can at least get 1024x768 (my native resolution is 1440x900). I'm pulling my hair out. Can anyone offer up any alternative kexts or other methods of getting CI/QE graphics functioning? I know it's possible, I just can't figure it out.
