nonconformistconformist
So I was having all kinds of issues trying to get 10.6.3 on an amd setup. What I did was use BootCD 1.5 in the snowleopard amd thread. Then installed 10.6.3 However, I could NOT get snow leopard to boot at all. So I put the drive in my intel box and used Chameleon bootloader. ANd OSX boots incredibly fast!! My graphics card showed up natively ( Nvidia 9500GT ) And I got my audio working with Voodoo HDA Lastly I used the most recent 82566MM kext I could find for ethernet. The last thing I need to do is install Chameleon to my drive so I dont have to put the boot cd anymore. But so far, Snow Leopard is working like a charm. Its pretty fast on my setup too. OSX86's never seemed quite stable or useful to me until I did this setup. Im still working on a few things, but as it stands..I can atest to the DP35DP motherboard as working with 10.6.3 More to come later.
