guavajuice
My build consist of a P55-USB3 rev2 Bios F8, Core i5-760 cpu and a CM storm stout case. Running SL 10.6.5 I have the back and top fan hooked up and CPU SMART FAN disabled in BIOSto make cpu fan run at full speed. But my cpu temp for each core is still ~ 50 degrees celsius. Is this normal or is my cpu fan not really spinning at high speed ? guavajuice
It looked 2 of the pins of the stock fan weren't properly screwed in after looking at this guide http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.cfm? ... 385&page=5 really useful. I got an cm hyper 212+ with ic diamond thermal paste. so i just installed that instead of fixing the pins of the stock fan and heat sink My temperature is down at 30 celsius!
