First of all let me say that Apple and all the other forums cant or don't want to help with this issue and you guys seem to be the only ones with the know how to help.

This isn't for a hackintosh installation but for Apple's products, in particular the Core i5/i7 Macbook Pro models which hangs after booting off the current retail 10.6.3 DVD. Apple havent yet released a 10.6.4 DVD so therefore I wish to integrate the combo 10.6.5 pkg into the retail 10.6.3 so I can boot off the DVD and start the SL installer.

I've tried using SIU to slipstream and failed miserably, being a relative Mac novice compared to Windows doesnt help either so I was wondering if someone here could give me some clues as to what to do!

Many thanks in advance!
