loller99
Hi, I installed the Snow_Leopard_10.6.1-10.6.2_SSE2_SSE3_Intel_AMD_by_Hazard with Virtualbox and after the installation it works correctly. I must use xcode so I downloaded it but i must update the system (else i can't install xcode), so I click "Software and update" and I installed all. After the reboot I see this error: "kdp_poll: no debugger device". How can i solve? Dellmantt
-.-I need to install xcode. If Mac isn't updated I can't install xcode. What is your hardware? Did you have to use a patched kernel? A few details might get you more assistance. Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/237695-update-problem/#findComment-1587659 Share on other sites

I use no patched Legacy kernel. I don't find the patch for kernel, can you post a link? What is your hardware? I meant did you have to use a "Legacy kernel" on the initial install. Here is link for a legacy kernel which will work for OS X 10.6.4 or 10.6.5. Do you have a backup to boot from? If not you may be able to boot into your system with a legacy boot CD. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=221599 Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/237695-update-problem/#findComment-1587670 Share on other sites
