Blindkilla
Here is a tutorial I found the other day. I haven't tested the method yet but it looks promising. I think at one point it needs you to insert the DVD to copy onto the usb, if you have the iso then you can mount it with something like daemon tools. http://www.intowindows.com/how-to-install-...-working-guide/ Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/237685-boot-and-install-of-flash-disk/#findComment-1587451 Share on other sites

3.14r2
I tried it, but doesnt work, in windows dont see all on DVD OS X DVD has HFS+ file system. Windows doesn't "KNOW" how to read HFS+ as by default there is no HFS driver present in Windows. Blindkilla
Ok, last night I successfully installed mac os x from my usb. To create the bootable usb from a dmg file I used a program called Transmac. In the program you find your usb and choose "format for mac use" and for the format select HST+. Once that was done I selected "use disk image to format", and when then chose the .dmg mac os x file. This processs took a few minutes, but once it was done I was able to boot from my usb file At that point I used ##### in conjunction with the usb to install everything successfully.
