darrinlowe
I am trying to install at this point any version of Leopard on my desktop. I have tried iPC 10.5.6, iDeneb 10.5.7, and iAtkos v7. I have my hard drive already partitioned into FAT32. I insert the disc for installation at startup, hit F8, -v for verbose, and get through the code that is displayed. From here it goes to the spinning beach ball where it locks up with all distros every time. I have also tried -v-x to try to boot from the DVD in safe mode, but it locks up at the same point. I am wanting to know where I am going wrong so I can atleast boot from the DVD. Below are my mobo and processor specs. I have two DVD drives, both IDE, a SATA HDD, which is partitioned for the install if I can ever get there, and a FireWire PCI x1 card. I am currently using the onboard graphics, which is where I suspect my problem lies. If this is the case, please advise on the minimum ATI card I need to install. Thanks in advance for any help.
