Help please: OSX on HP DM3-1130

Hello,

 

After I succesfull installed iPC 10.5.6 (and updated to 10.5.8) on my desktop, I would like to know if it will run on my laptop, a HP DM3-1130. Are there people with experience with this laptop? Please tell me!

 

Specs: Intel Pentium SU4100, 4GB 800mHz DDR2 ram, Intel HD4500 and Nvidia G105M. Bluetooth, and AR9285 Wireless card, external dvd-drive

 

I tried to start-up iPC 10.5.6 and it worked with bootflags -v -f cpus=1, the 2 graphic cards in my laptop are recognized as: Intel: monitor, build-in, 64mb vram and code: 0x2a42. and Nvidia: monitor, PCIe, code: 0x0a69.

 

None of them recognises a monitor, but I think that can be solved. Bluetooth is working and activated. Network: nothing, but I think I read it can be working. Sata-devices: ICH9-m AHCI, and recognizes my harddrive.

 

Problem: When I try to boot iAtkos S3 v2 and can't even make it to the installation screen with bootflags: -v -f cpus=1 arch=i386. First chameleon read's alot of files from the dvd, than Apple begins booting and it says: "Still waiting for root device''. I know you could solve this with rd=diskX bootflag, but what X is my external dvd-drive connected via usb? Could somebody help.

 

Problem 2: 2 graphic card's. I know the Intel won't work with QE/CL but the G105M can work with a kext. But how can I disable the Intel card in OSX, so I can only use the G105M? Or select in OSX that it will only use the G105M and never the Intel card (because it's not working.)? Could somebody help with that part.

 

So I think my laptop has a very good chance to get OSX working on it, but only the 2 graphic cards is a real problem. Right? I would really like to know if my laptop is going to work because I'm only a pupil with limited money for a another harddrive for my laptop.

 

Maybe my English is not perfect, that's because it's not my native language. It's Dutch.

Do you guys know how to solve this? I read things about changes in the BIOS, but on a HP laptop. You can't change things in the bios. Why is iPC 10.5.6 booting and 10.6.3 not?

 

I'm now trying SnowOSX v3.6 (SL 10.6.2) will that make difference?
