Hi All

Thought that I would mention I got my Shuttle SH55J2 fully working. (I got it on sale from NCIX.com for $189 Cdn  ) At fist, it ran super slow with during the boot/BIOS. I thought it was the ram, so I went out a bought some that was approved for the SH55J2. That did fix it, but when I used an a wired USB PC keyboard, there was no problems. So, don't use a Ma keyboard s\during set up. Must be something to do with the USB.

At first, I was a little worried using another motherboard other than Gigabyte, but, just for fun I used the same #####/Mulitbeast from a previous attempt and it worked.

So after I rebooted into Leopard on the Shuttle, I went to my iMac and downloaded the #####/##### from Tonymacx86 web site. 10.6.5 Update and then saved the files to a flash drive. (I knew the Shuttles ethernet was not working yet). Installed the files from the flash drive into the Documents folder.

Followed the instructions for #####/##### (##### Documentation) http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2010/04/ibo...ac-os-x-on.html and decided to just install ##### and see if things would work. After restart, everything worked, accept for ethernet and audio.

FYI: I did manage to get online by tethering with my iPhone. I went to Lnx2Mac's blog for the ethernet driver

http://lnx2mac.blogspot.com/p/realtekrtl81xx-osx-driver.html

and picked up a driver for Realtek RTL 8111E and then went back to ##### and installed VoodooHDA 2.56 for the audio.

Everything is running great, got a score of 6589 on Geekbench.

I can't wait to add 4 more gigs of ram and see how the XFX GTS 240 video card runs.

This is my third hackintosh build, so I don't know all the nitty gritty details. For example, didn't create a custom DSDT or update the BIOS and I'm clueless with Window's or DOS.

Don't forget to make donations to Tonymacx86 and others for there time and knowledge.

Feel free to contact me if you need any help.

Hey, great work pylonman! Would you please give us a breakdown of what features have been tested and the results. I was curious about wake from sleep and the kind of performance you have gotten from the shuttles thermal system.

Thanks.
