I have tried to install iAtkos S3 V2 onto a memory stick, the install went fine (a bit slow but it is a memory stick) but now when i try to boot into it, it just gets stuck on the gray apple screen with the spinning clock thingy.

After booting into -v -x, it just stops after the following lines:

Launchctl: Dubious ownership on file (skipping) : /Library/LaunchDaemons

Launchctl: Dubious ownership on file (skipping) : /System/Library/LaunchDaemons

Launchctl: Dubious ownership on file (skipping) : /etc/mach_init.d

I have tried installing it with multiple customized settings (boot-loaders, kernels and even power settings) and get the same results.

thanks in advance.

I used a different distro and i can now boot into safe mode, however as i didn't know what graphics driver i needed i think i chose the wrong one which gives the "please hold down power button...." screen when i boot normally.

I currently have it running the IntelGMAX3100 driver which is running at the correct resolution and allows for all the graphics effects etc.. but has vertical stripes accross the screen and it changes colour when the lid is put down and then lifted or if you change the resolution.

Is it the driver i'm using or have i accidentally installed two and they are conflicting?
