tonkpils
hi again, i was wrong, it is not the DS3L, but the DS3R that i have. i have installed the files for DS3L, that is the same, according to kakewalk instructions. So what i did, i have installed a PCI express Firewire card, and now in system info, i see the firewire soundcard that i have. the one onboard is not yet visible... when i plug the soundcard to this onboard port the signal arrive to the card, but the led of the firewire connection is off. i am wondering if this is not something to do with the DSDT file. that maybe the firewire port onboard is not listed there, or it is not picking up the IRD number from the bios. But where should i start?
