efp
hi all, I've got a Dell Inspiron 1525 (celeron). I've setup SnowLeopard 10.6 from Retail disk using Boot132. Everything worked besides Sleep and Wireless. I fixed sleep by using a different dsdt.aml however Wireless doesnt seem to be working. The card is recognised during startup but does NOT turn on. No matter how many times i press Turn Airport On it does not start up. How can i fix this?? EDIT: deleting wireless(AirPort) from network preferences, restarting and reconfiguring/adding AirPort again doee not work. efp
I fixed AirPort by patching the wireless card. Using the following guide: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=51725 Using bcm43xx_enabler_0.5.3.sh.zip Prior to this i patched the card the same way but with an older Shell script that i found somewhere on the net which didnt work. This one does!!!
