Need help to make a SL Master boot record DVD. i have successfully installed SL from a retail DVD 10.6(.0) on a empty hard drive formatted in GPT, on my MSi cx620. then i was trying, but found out that win 7 ultimate doesn't install gpt, only mbr. The i formatted the drive into mbr and installed win 7 ultimate, and now i want to install my SL again. have tried to make an bootable usb, with the osinstall.mpkg file switched with one that allow mbr install, but my com wont boot?? have tried with Netbookbootmaker, ##### cd disk, iatkos and many others, you name it!

Unless "Ultimate" is different to other Win 7 then that is incorrect, it can be installed on GUID partition.

See for example http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=169182

But then why does the win 7 install tell me that it can't install on a gpt disk? i have already tried to make the dualboot that way, and it wouldn't succeed!!??
