dantheman244
Starting statements The guide below is for the Dell mini 10v. This guide is not how to install, but an IDEA EXOSKELLETION for installations. The guide bases on the fact that iDeneb can be installed from a prepared USB. This guide may apply to other netbooks, but I doubt it. Also: don't be a pirate! --------- Single OS --------- Meathod A Make two partitions, one really small one for iDeneb and another main partition for Snow Leopard. After a successful iDeneb intall, use iDeneb to prepare a Snow Leopard install USB. Reformat the Hard Drive and install Snow Leopard. Method B If you have a Mac / Hackitosh that you can use to prepare the USB stick, then skip the whole iDeneb installation and just go ahead and install Snow Leopard on one big partition right from the beginning. ---------------- Dual boot Win 7 ---------------- Method A The idea is to make 2 partitions, both even. Install Windows 7 from a prepared USB stick onto one of the partitions. On the other partition, install iDeneb to prepare the USB stick. After USB stick is done, format that iDeneb partition and install Snow Leopard on it. Then, in windows, use easybsd to set a bootloader to dual boot. Method B Make two partitions, roughly the same size. On one, use a prepared Windows 7 install USB to install windows. On the other partition, use the prepared Snow Leopard install disk (made on a mac / hackintosh) to install Snow Leopard. In windows, use easybsd to create a bootloader to dual boot. ------------------------------ Triple, Quadruple, and so on... ------------------------------ Basicly, follow the instructions in the dual boot section and just make an extra partition. Install an os on that partition and include it in the easybsd bootlader and your good to go! ----------- Final Notes ----------- This guide is free to be used by anyone. Have Fun!
