Acer Aspire M5810; What do I need?

I'm kind of new to all this stuff and I just asked my self: "Why do I have to let Mac OS run in VMWare Player when I might get it working on my PC more natively?"

So here I am asking some stupid questions.

I worked myelf through some of these fancy How-To s and tutorials, but there are still some questions left.

First of all, I need to know wether my Hardware will be supported with some special kexts.

 

So these are my specs:

CPU : Intel Core i5 750 (Lynnfield, 2,67 GHz)

DDR: Samsung, DDR2 (1.333 MHz, CL 9, 2-Dual Channel) 4/8 GB installed so far

Chip/BIOS: Intel P55/AMI (P01-A3)

Hard-Disk: Seagate ST31500341AS

GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTS240 (2.048 Megabyte)/675 MHz/600 MHz

Sound: Realtek ALC 888

 

Another question is, what distro I may have or want to use, because there are severall out there that are presented as the perfect ones.

Additionally I got myself a Snow Leopard DVD from Amazon ( that worked on a friend's old macbook ) that may be modified, so there are a lot of possibillities.

 

I hope you understood what my problems are and that my english isn#t as bad as I think it is
