Hi guys,

So here is my dilemma, should I buy a base model 13" MacBook from the education store, so at a discount. Or a Dell Studio XPS 15?

Here is the Dell. I would probably get the i5 model.

I'm going to be developing ASP.net web application, in boot camp on a Mac. I will also be doing a lot of design stuff in the Adobe suites. I might try out Ruby on Rails, but I'm a .Net fan so I don't know. (ASP.net MVC FTW!).

Lemme know what you think :)

Cheers / Ryan

Hmm its probably too late but I recently switched from a 13" macbook pro to a Dell XPS 15 and I couldn't be happier! The i5 + 420m + 1080p screen is an awesome combo when used with some hacked drivers. I got mine for $800 shipped including tax which saves you 150 + tax from a base Macbook!
