Hello all,

I'm brand new to both the Apple os and hackintosh. This is my PC hardware setup:

Motherboard:

Gigabyte GA-965p DS3 v1

CPU:

Intel Core 2 Duo e6300

Memory:

6GB DDR2 667mhz

Video:

Ati Radeon x1900xt PCI-E 16x

Lan:

Realtek wired

I first downloaded iAtkos S3, and was unable to get it to boot after trying many different options during install...not sure what the problem was, but I moved on to iAtkos v7.

I chose basic options during the v7 install, and it booted up perfectly, with sound and network working! However, my resolution is only 1024x768. On a Samsung 26" monitor...ick. :P

I have tried the following Natit.kext (first download in first post):

1. Downloaded the Natit.kext, replaced all instances of Alopias with Sphyrna in the info.plist

2. Copied the file into my Extensions folder

3. Deleted /System/Library/Extensions.mkext (but was unable to find Extensions.kextcache anywhere)

4. Ran disk utility and repaired file permissions

5. Rebooted with -v option

6. Booted into a nice looking blue screen with no icons, no mouse cursor.

The above are the only things I did...did I miss a major step, or what could cause this blue screen? No errors, no kernel panic...nothing :D

Like I said, I'm brand new at this so if you have any suggestions I'd really appreciate them! Step by step instructions if I'm editing files please :)
