thy1225 Posted November 9, 2010 Share Posted November 9, 2010 here's my setup CPU Intel i7 860 Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD3 rev2 F11 WD HardDrive SATA 250G RAM 4G DDR3 Graphic Card MSI r5770 Hawk 1G // install using the [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url]+[url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] 2.3 method (multibease: using vervet and graphic enabler =no) I got my MSI r5770 Hawk 1G work QE/CI in 32bit (DVI port) but mouse and anything are lag and slow....and the screen sometimes mess up for a few seconds whole system seems very slow and mouse keep jumping around unexpectedly....very annoying... I'm not trying to go 64bit just want a stable and smooth system is there any confirmed solution to fix my problem? (I also tried using 5770 bios rom and replace boot file try to boot it to 64bit, but failed . the computer beep very loud when trying to get in to the grey apple screen and screen went black) or I should change my MSI r5770 hawk 1G to any other 5770 card. the sales told me I can go back to pick aother one is there any 5770 card can work OOB? or at least confirmed and easier to set up... please help .... stuck here for 3days trying.... Maniac10 Posted November 9, 2010 Share Posted November 9, 2010 I've got an xfx 5770 1gb and it works great, though not oob, no 5770 will. You just need to install the graphics update and change your bootloader to kabyl's or use the aty_init enabler (vervet framebuffer).
