hhll
Hey guys, I'm building a Hackintosh to supersede my 2008 Macbook Pro. The primary use of this computer will be tracking & mixing. I will be running Pro Tools 9, and i'm pretty stoked about the performance increase I will HOPEFULLY be getting with this build! I'm a first time Hackintosh builder, and basically - I would like to build a machine that is as problem free as possible, and using the most modern HW available.. this way this machine can stay relevant for a bit. Here is my list - anybody have any recommendations/issues with this set up? Can spend a bit more if need be, I really just want to get as much bang for my buck as I can Case: Antec Sonata III 500 Black 0.8mm cold rolled steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 500W Power Supply Link: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16811129024 Motherboard: ASUS P7P55D-E Pro LGA 1156 Intel P55 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard Link: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16813131621 Video Card: EVGA 01G-P3-N959-TR GeForce 9500 GT 1GB 128-bit DDR2 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card Link: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16814130395 Processor: Intel Core i7-860 Lynnfield 2.8GHz LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core Processor BX80605I7860 Link: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16819115214 RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL Link: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16820231277 Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 ST31500341AS 1.5TB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive Link: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16822148337 CD/DVD Drive: LITE-ON DVD Writer - Bulk - Black SATA Model iHAS224-06 LightScribe Support - OEM Link: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16827106333 Bluetooth would be ideal... but I haven't seem to stumble on much information that made it look easy to get going. :l
