Zuff
Dear All, I have some problems installing Snow Leopard on my laptop. Some of the attempts I have taken: 1. Installed the retail disc on a GUID partition table HD, installed without problem, but couldnt boot due to ACPI or something along that line, read need to change BIOS settting, but that laptop had very limited BIOS setting, apatr from boot priority, there isnt much I could change. 2. Attempts to install on MBR using this method: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=181287 but couldnt get to work, as I believe in Snow Leopard we also had to make changes to /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Install.framework/Frameworks/OSInstall.framework/Versions/A/ which i dun understand how to go abt doing it. Most importantly, I do not have access to a Mac. What do I need to do to the OSInstall in /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Install.framework/Frameworks/OSInstall.framework/Versions/A/ ?? Thanks a million
