iamcrazyaowtaeotjert Posted November 8, 2010 Share Posted November 8, 2010 I've successfully installed iAtkos s3 v2 10.6.3 SL. Everything is working except the video driver. I have tried everything possible besides flashing my 4890 as that is not an option. Is there anything you guys can suggest. Tried: Installing the 4890 from the custom section of the iAtkos install cd (the whole setup fails and I am unable to start macosx) Installed the packages QE_CI_Exotic_Card for 10.6.3 (causes glitches after apple loading screen) I was looking on Google for a couple of hours to no avail. I did find something interesting on editing the 4800Controller.kext, but I don't know what to add or where. I am currently dual booting windows 7 and SL (everything works except video drivers ) The manufacture for the video card is XFX which I heard (from Google), that this card has known issues. I also found a topic here on the fixes for 4890, but I seem to have misplaced it after rebooting several times.
