Why you ask? Cause, I wanna know! Im currently using 003 with my Radeon 9600, AMD processor, and OSX 10.4.5. Its still mussing about, not great yet, but Im gonna try 008 in a minute see what happens. Ive used 007, and 005, but wasnt getting anything close to build 003. I have a ibm t41p, which has a ATI mobility FireGL T2, which uses the 9600 chipset. W/ 003 i can select resolutions, and i can re-enable QE and CI, but i get massive mouse tearing, to the point where I just turn it back off. However, I just realized that I may have been installing the old ones wrong. Questions: When changing between builds, do you have to do a fresh install, or can you just install the new ones right on top of the old ones? What exactly do QE and CI enable? I know it enables the fancier graphics, but is it really worth it over the mouse tearing? I've tried a few fixes but none really worked.
