Hi, it seems we have similar notebook and similar error. My notebook is VGN-FW41E. Here is the confuguration:

CPU:  Intel Core 2 Duo T6400

Chipset:  Intel Cantiga PM45

USB controller: Intel 82801IB ICH9

Graphic card: Ati Mobility Radeon 4650 512MB

Audio: Realtek ALC262

Wifi: Intel WiFi Link 5100 AGN

LAN: Marvell Yukon 88E8055

LCD Resolution: 1600x900

Card reader: Ricoh Memory Stick Disk Device

My problem:

After instalation iATKOS S3 V2 I always get: "You must restart your computer" screen.

I have tried lot of combinations in instalation customize menu...

In verbose mode i stuck on this:

After instalation is on disk only 4,23GB, is it OK?

 I found that:

During instalation don't check any graphic enabler or ATI something.

After instalation we must boot in safe mode (with -x) and delete all ATI kexts in /System/Library/Extensions

After that is possible boot in normal mode  ;)
