So I'm planning some iOS development as well as triple boot to play games, watch videos, program etc. So its a pretty general purpose machine. I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on these components? Neither my board nor processor are in the database. Was planning an #####/##### followed by EasyBCD for 3x.

MB: AsRock H55M-GE $87

CPU: Intel Core i3-540 $124

RAM: 4GB Kit ddr3 G.Skill-Ripjaws 1333 $85

GPU: 1GB 5670 Powercolor $108

WIFI: PCI Tenda W322P-V2.0 $34

HDD: WD SATA 500G $45

CASE: Thermaltake V3 (w/ 450W PSU) $73

Moni: 23" Acer G235HBMD $179

CD: SATA Sony Dual Layer DVD RW $27

Total of $871 (from my local supplier, who's prices approximate newegg)

Already have a keyboard, but add ~$20 for a usb wired optical mouse.

Would the above physically work (as in the parts fit together, will parts melt from the heat, is there enough power?)

I'm unsure about the graphics card. I could instead get the Gigabyte (+$2) or Asus(+$10) branded 5670. Or I could get a 5570 or some nVidia (GT210/220/240/GTS250).

Would the Asrock board work? There aren't many budget boards available where I live.

I can't find any OS X related info about that board.

The nearest I can find is this one:

Can't you order from Newegg?
