Laura Posted August 6, 2006 Share Posted August 6, 2006 Well, I have everything in my Tiger now, well, no everything...I have a ASUS A8N5X motherboard, with built in sound......My tiger 10.4.6 doesn't recognize it.... Any idea? The graphics card is an ATI club 3D X1600 Pro , I have read this post: http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?s=...st&p=130050 but i'm not sure if is the same graphics card (there is a lot of different X1600...... ) Can you help me??? Thanks. Re: Graphics Yes, that link should work with your card. In posting 3 is an installer that some people have had success with. Others have found the manual method works better. Re: Sound Need more info. Do you have a Windows partition? If so, go to Device Manager. Under Sound (and other stuff), click the audio controller and then the "details" tab and get the vendor and device id string. Under System Devices, look for anything Audio and do the same. And Rammjet, i have been found this information about my sound device: Realtek ACL850 , nVidia nForce4 (CK8-04) , PCI Device id: 10DE - 0059 Device class: 0401 (AudioDevice) Is enough information?
