hey Everyone,

Here are my System Specs I'm trying to install iDeneb 1.5.1 on to.

System Information:

Motherboard: Asus M3A32-MVP Deluxe

CPU: QuadCore AMD Phenom Black Edition 9850, 2500 MHz (12.5 x 200)

Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX/9800 GTX+ (512 MB)

Memory: 2 x 2 GB Kingston DDR-2 800 (PC2 6400) SDRAM

Chipset: North Bridge: AMD 790FX , South Bridge AMD SB600

Bios Information:

BIOS Type: AMI

BIOS Version: 1002

System BIOS Date: 03/20/08

Now for whats going on I can get Mac OS X Leopard To Install Successfully, Even Reboot and Successfully Load into the Mac OS, I've Tested Internet, Sound both seem to be working Great.

I Tried to load System Preferences, Could not get that to load up then i tried to Restart the System Via the Mac Option Button on top, Then system seem to lock up.

So i Forced Restarted by Press Power button, Then here is where my problems are when the system tries to reboot it freezes at the gray screen with apple logo, Now I've Tried using -x -v and -s

Here is My Verbose Boot SS

I was not able to get -s to boot into a Command Line.

My Computer Tells me this "Reboot and Select Proper Boot device"

I also noticed the system will not boot at all unless i insert my ##### legacy Disk i made. So I'm guess my MBR is totally messed up or i have two Active Partitions cause conflict. I currently have 1 Hard Drive with 2 partitions, partition1 Win Xp Pro, partition2 Leopard.

in Bios I've tried changing OnChip Sata Type to AHCI, This didn't seem to help either.

Here is The Options i choose during the Install Maybe I'm make wrong choices.

Install

--------------------------------------

Bootloader > Chameleon v2

Fix > ACPI/SSE2 Fix

Kernel > 9.5.0 Voodoo

Drivers > Chipset > Via/SiS/Marvell/Uli

Video > NVidia > NVKush

Install 2

----------------------------------------

Bootloader > Chameleon v2

Fix > ACPI/SSE2 Fix

Kernel > 9.7.0 Qoopz

Before these two install i was just playing with other options Installing 1 was the most successful as i got all the way into the OS and fully working until i restarted anyways.

If anyone can help me out I'd appreciate it so much.

P.S. Sorry if i wasn't suppose to post this here it was only place i was able to post and it seemed like other new users was posting questions here also.

If you need any more information from me to give me some more help just let me know and i'll get it for yeah.

**EDIT:

Looks Like These Following Final Install Options for my System Specs

Bios Setting:

--------------------------------------

OnChip Sata Type: AHCI

Install Settings:

--------------------------------------

Bootloader > Chameleon v2

Fix > ACPI/SSE2 Fix

Kernel > 9.5.0 Voodoo

Drivers > Audio > Analog Devices Audio > ADI1988B

Drivers > Chipset > Via/SiS/Marvell/Uli

Drivers > Network > Ethernet > AppleYukon2

Video > NVidia > NVKush

Now I also wanted to try and Dual boot Windows XP Pro (Already Installed Partition 1) with Mac OS X Leopard install on Partition 2, You have to switch Sata IDE with AHCI in Bios.

I had problems trying to get leopard to boot with Sata IDE mode (I believe you need a mod to do this), so it was much easier to switch windows xp to ahci.

Here what ended up working for me.

Download WinXP32_AHCI_Drivers.zip

and Follow the readme_XP32.txt file.

Now as its posted all over this board edit windows boot.ini, Copy chain0 file from the leopard partition under usr\standalone\i386\chain0 to C:\chain0 in same folder as your boot.ini the system root.

[boot loader]
timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /FASTDETECT /USEPMTIMER
C:\chain0="Ideneb Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.7"

Peace,

Morte
