icestone
Hi I have a atheros ar928x wireless network adaptor as airport card on Snow leopard 10.6.2. It work well. But i can not change/modify the MAC address. I have used the method by typing "sudo ifconfig en1 ether XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX" . Then typing "ifconfig -a", the en1 mac address has changed. However, the airport card can not connect to any wifi router. It displays "Out of time". Any one help? icestone
I found my airport card's mac address can be changed in Windows 7. But in Snow Leopard 10.6.2, it doesn't work. I think Apple maybe not allow user to change the airport mac address. So the airport driver does not support changing mac address. I try many softwares to modify the mac address, but I failed. I need some help.
