I'm the creator of PlayOnMac Project (www.playonmac.com), I would like to present you PlayOnMac PlayOnMac is a Mac version of PlayOnLinux, which help since 2007 numerous people to install Windows softwares on Linux. (PlayOnLinux installs each year about 1 million Windows software among 400 application officialy supported) We decided to make a Mac OS version of the software Here is a quick preview PlayOnMac is a free equivalent of CrossOver office. Therefor, it permits to run Windows Software on OS X thank's to wine Why using PlayOnMac instead of wine ? Here is the advantages of PlayOnMac : - We have made install program, that allows the user to configure and run application and games in few steps. These programs are directly downloaded from our website, and we can add programs in the list without updating PlayOnMac software - We build wine for OSX each time a new version is out. We also build patched wine version, to make some games compatible (Worms World Party) - PlayOnMac can download and manage in the same time as many wine (www.winehq.org) version as you want. Therefore, if a game does not work anymore with a new wine version, we can fix the problem easily - PlayOnMac package contains the latest XQuartz version, which permit you to run Fullscreen game Some applications we support : Games : Alien Breed 2 : Assault, Assassin's Creed 2 Blur Dark Messiah Of Might And Magic Dead Rising 2 Devil May Cry 4 Guild Wars Halo Combat Evolved Mafia II Monkey Island (Two special editions) Prey Prince of Persia - The Forgotten Sands Star Wars : Jedi Knight II, Jedi Academy Steam (For game non available on OSX - like Half life 1) The Elder Scrolls IV (Oblivion) (with extensions and patches) Track Mania Nations For Ever (Sound does not work ) Wolfenstein Worms World Party Programs : Internet Explorer 6 et 7 (to test your website) Photofiltre, MP3 Tag, Adwords Editor 8.0.1, Innosetup, Notepad++, StarUml, IZarc, Teach 2000, ...
