Hi all

I'm installing 10.6.3 using ##### on an aspire 5570z. During installation touchpad and keyboard work great.

However, if I install ##### from the ##### package, on reboot keyboard and touchpad do not work.

If I boot using the ##### cd the mouse works again, so the problem must not be the kexts installed from #####.

I have tried the voodoops2controller, but the tilde key is replaced with plus/minus, and I like the windows key mapped to the apple key, which is not the case with voodoops2controller.

Similarly, the sound does not work after #####, but works with #####. voodooHDA works, but volume is wierd

and mic is overly sensitive.

Does anyone know what the ##### CD is doing to get my hardware working properly?

Go and see what kext are used by ##### CD.

About PS2 - the special keys can be changed in keyboard preferences. If you don't like VoodooPS2 you might want to try ApplePS2Controller instead.

It can be found on myHack site. Remember to remove VoodooPS2 if using ApplePS2! If both were installed, touchpad and keyboard might start do act strange.

I have the same problem.

How i know what kexts ##### is using?

Where i can download ApplePS2?

Thanks.

Did you find ApplePS2? I installed with VoodoPS2 and only the keyboard works (touchpad in laptop does not work).

How do you install ApplePS2 once you have it? ##### or just a file copy?

Thanks.
