JamesZero Posted November 2, 2010 Share Posted November 2, 2010 Hello, I have recently installed OSX 10.5.8 (iDeneb Lite) which all worked fine, I have everything up and running. I have noticed though that USB only runs at USB 1 (12mbps). I know the ports are USB 2 ports as Windows used to be on the machine and it worked with the USB 2 ports fine... Is there any reason for this? By the way, the devise I'm testing this with is formatted to NTFS, should that matter? I need to copy about 100GB's of data onto the Mac but it's going to take more than 24 hours at this speed.
