iernie
I've had a question that I can't seem to find an answer for, so I hope somebody here will be able to help me. I built this summer a desktop computer which I was able to install OSX on, the only thing I did not get running was the GPU (GTX 460) which is not yet supported. My question then was: Is it able to run two GPUs at once, my GTX 460 for other operating systems like Windows/Linux and another one in 8XXX/9XXX-series for OSX without much work or workarounds to get it to work? Can they co-exist? I realize that I would have to change the DVI kable when I want to change, but I'm wondering if it is going to make me any trouble. Any reply is appreciated. For the record, my motherboard is: Asus P6T Deluxe V2 Thanks. 3.14r2
In theory it should work. The other thing is how it could be done? If you can boot the OS X without any issues then usupported card is installed (read you can boot to OS X but no hardware acceleration), then they should coexist peacefully. IMHO. As for cable switching... Buy a display with two DVI inputs. Or a KVM switch.
