zenojino Posted October 30, 2010 Share Posted October 30, 2010 hi Needed some help. Encountered problem while installing SnowOSX_Universal_10.6(432)GM_v3.5 from DVD. My machine reboots after loading the kernel and the kext libraries in verbose mode and also in other modes. A small split second display of the apple mac logo and reboots. I came to understand there is a compatiblity problem. can someone help me please. i am new to OS X. I searched for several forums but couldn't find my system specific help. so, kindly help. My PC configuration is, Intel core i3 530 (4MB Cache, 2.93 GHz) processor Intel desktop motherboard DH57DD Media series 2GBx2 DDR3 SD RAM 1333MHz 240pin DIMM 1 ASUS ENGT220 1GB DDR3 Graphics Card (DVI/HDMI/Analog)[nVIDIA Geforce Chipset] 1 Samsung Octoedge DVD R/W Drive 1 HDD 1TB SATA 7200rpm 1 HDD 500GB SATA 7200rpm 1 HDD 250GB SATA 5400rpm Samsung SyncMaster 2033 Monitor with DVI /Analog Input CoolerMaster CM690IIPlus Chasis CoolerMaster Extreme Real Power 600W SMPS I wanted to install OS X in my 250GB HDD. Can I have 3 partitions in that disk? Unfortunately unable to install the OS. can anyone help for this system specific install procedure. I tried to boot with setting the bios sata setting to AHCI. But there is flash stating something is not found which i couldnt make out and display stopped at Darwin boot> from there when i type anything it goes to enter the hexadecimal port no of hard disc. what does this mean?? pl help.... thanks zeno Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
