hey ,

is my Hp G62-130eg working with hackintosh?

Intel core i3 2,13ghz

Ati mobility radeon hd 5430

4gb ram

wlan: Atheros AR9285 (Mini-PCIe)

is it working with 10.6.x or 10.5.x ?

well, i have a laptop identical to yours. i tried ideneb 10.5.7 (i know it's old, that's where there was fewer download links) and couldn't get further than installation screen, where you detect the installation drive. it just couldn't be detected, only the usb stick i've got in handy. i couldn't find any info on my wlan adapter, and i couldn't figure out if my hdd was ahci or something else, i don't quite remember, since it's a long time since last time. :/

it would be cool to try retail, but i haven't got it, maybe you have it?

if you've got it, try it, and report back ! :)

Retail detects the hdd, atleast mine ;)

next problem is wifi (Intel Centrino Wireless-N 1000) and ethernet (Realtek R8101E/R8102E). well, wifi will never work, unless i start to learn how to make kexts myself, but won't bother me that much because i'm just gonna tether with my phone. and ethernet ain't really that useful when your router is in your basement .

then there's that graphics card, ATI Radeon HD5430M. there's a kext for 5xxx cards, but i'm not sure that it works.

i hope this is useful! :)
