Hello,

I have E2180

Asus P5KPL-AM SE mbo(I need X3100 to work!)

1500mb of DDR2 ram

2 Sata disks and one IDE DVD ROM

and installing Snow Leopard 10.6.3

Tried with iAtkos, ##### retail method and i always get the same Kernel Panic...Tried with DVD and with USB key.

Here is the message that happens when i try to boot it off DVD/USB:

Followed some guides on BIOS settings and always that message, flags as -x, arch=i386, -legacy do not help.

Tried Hazard and some old 10.5.x and they get to the waiting for boot device UUID somethingsomething.

Can anyone suggest how to solve that problem?

I am guessing that x3100 cant boot in VESA 3.0 which basically kills everything.

If that is the reason is it possible to install with some pci-express GPU and do some patching after it installs, then just pull that card out and use X3100?

Regards, T.
