stangn99 Posted August 5, 2006 Share Posted August 5, 2006 Ok, I tried to burn the 10.4.6 jas to a dvd and boot from it. It locked the machine and i was told to turn off the computer in 4-5 languages. I tried the VMware way...and got the same thing. I have taken a picture of the problem. stangn99 Posted August 5, 2006 Author Share Posted August 5, 2006 well.. I was planning on upgrading my pc anyway. So my next question. What would be the best hardware to get interms of Motherboard and CPU and Video Card (althought i am happy with my video card)....so have a problem free install of OSX x86? I plan to dual boot it with Windows...but since everything works with windows...why not get some hardware that works great with OSX x86? Any ideas on what i should look for? OK, I think i decided on the CPU i will get...but I can't figure out which Motherboard to get to match that CPU. The motherboard compatability list doesn't really state which cpu it works with. Again..sorry for the lack of knowledge. I have decided on the "Intel Pentium D 820 2.80 GHz Processor CP2-P4820 C", But which motherbaord should I couple that with? Thanks again for all the help.
