I'm looking for someone to help me out here. I have a Vostro 3700 that had no way of connecting to wifi. I bought an HP BCM 4321 for $30 (cheaper than the apple one for 80). It is immediately recognized by vanilla kexts but I lose connection and can't find any APs, even if I turn the one on in my phone and have it right next to the laptop. I get my connection back when I restart, but it never lasts that long. Does this sound like a hardware problem or software? I have tried the BCM43xx enabler, but that does not change anything. If software, please link the fix.

Thanks
