mark90_2k2 Posted October 28, 2010 Share Posted October 28, 2010 Hey there, I recently upgraded from a p35-neo f with e7300 cpu to a H55M-UD2H with core i5 760. The p35 setup runs and installs iPC 10.5.6 flawlessly from the external DVD drive. The H55M-UD2H setup (same disk, same external DVD) will not boot from the external DVD drive. Says "/com.apple.boot.slist" not present. Simiarly, [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] will not boot either. Anyone know of any bios settings on the H55M-UD2H board that will be preventing the external DVD from booting? Cheers! Z0ID Posted November 10, 2010 Share Posted November 10, 2010 Holla, 1. Bootloader installer properly ? (use myHack if u dislike Terminal commands) 2. Is there an extra folder on your usb drive including boot.plist and extensions folder ^^ 3. GUID Partition Table ? MBR Table works not ootb u need a patch 4.
