some11
Setup Hardware: Processor: Intel Core2 Quad CPU (Q6600 @ 2.40GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.4GHz) Memory: 4096MB RAM Motherboard: Gigabyte (965P-DS3) Graphic Card: NVIDIA (GeForce 8600 GT) Software: Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit (6.1, Build 7600)) [Retail Disk - NO DOWNLOAD LINKS] Virtual Box: 3.2.10 (r66523) [HomePage] OSX: Apple OSX 10.6 (Snow Leopard) [Retail Disk - NO DOWNLOAD LINKS] (Setup/Temp) Boot-loader: (Intel) legacyempire_efi1085.iso (...and for AMD user's can use this) (Permanent) Boot-loader: myHack_Installer-1.1.4.mpkg [blog Post] Sound Drivers: VirtualBox ICH AC97 Audio Driver.pkg [Thread] Download everything: http://www.mediafire.com/?6bb071govlt7fo0 OR http://sharebee.com/2e208798 How To 1.) Download & install virtual box. (Just keep clicking 'Next, next, next') 2.) Create new machine. When creating the Hard disk, make sure its over 15GB. Edit the VM with the following settings: General -> Basic > OS: Mac OSX > Version: Mac OSX Server System-> Motherboard > Base Memory - 1024MB > Enable - IO APIC System-> Processor > Processors - 2 > Enable PAE/NX System-> Processor > Enable VT-x/AMD-V Storage > Type -> ICH6 Audio > Host Audio Driver -> Windows Direct Sound > Audio Controller -> ICH AC97 Network > Attached to -> Bridged Adepter > Advanced -> Adepter Type -> Intel PRO/1000MT Server (82545EM) 3.) Mount the empire_efi iso. 4.) Start VM, Press F12, then boot from CD (c is the shortcut.). 5.) Wait for "select boot device" screen. 6.) Mount OSX setup disk. Wait a few seconds. 7.) Refresh the screen (F5), select OSX Disk on the screen and press enter. 8.) Wait for the setup to start. 9.) Go through the installation process. Go to disk utility and create a partition if you cant see installation disk. 10.) You will find that it will not shutdown/restart correctly when the setup is done - your going to have to do it manually! Machine -> Restart 11.) Redo steps 3-4. 12.) This time select the new HDD (instead of the setup CD) 13.) Keep going with installing OSX. 14.) OSX is installed 15.) Update to 10.6.4 16.) When it wants to restart - let it - just keep booting from the CD and selecting the HDD. 17.) Check for any more updates. Install updates, restart, remount till its all done. 18.) You're up-to-date (OSX 10.6.4). 19.) I found that using "myHack" on the empire_efi CD DIDN'T work for me. So I did a bit of Googling, found the latest version and try that. (See links at the top). 20.) When your installing myHack, select "Customize" (during "Installation Type"). Enable "PS2Controller". THIS WILL FIX THE MOUSE BEING STUCK IN THE TOP LEFT. Leave the rest alone. 21.) Restart. Though this time - you can boot STRAIGHT from the HDD. No mounting/selecting needed (= 22.) You're booting "by yourself" 23.) Download and run the sound drivers from the link above. 24.) Restart afterwords 25.) You how have sound *SHOULD be see a little speaker now in the top right" 26.) Take snapshot of the VM 27.) You now have OSX in a VM Sometimes it doesn't boot correctly, a simple restart fixes it (Have you tired turning it off and on again ) Hope it helps someone, some11 Based on: http://www.sysprobs.com/install-mac-snow-l...-apple-intel-pc Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/235206-tutorial-how-to-install-apple-osx-106x-in-virtualbox-32x-using-windows-7-x64/ Share on other sites
