Audio RealTek ALC260HD not working on PackardBell MV85/004

Hi all gurus,

I managed after countless efforts to have major functions to work but WiFi and Audio.

 

I've got distro and installed it, then I've fixed W7's MBR and got dual boot with iDeneb DVD in drive.

 

However, I do need audio, and so I've tried:

AppleAzaliaAudio, AppleHDA, GenericAC97Audio from iDeneb 10.5.7, ALC262 from iDeneb 10.5.7

and I don't get any output, not internal audio nor jack.

 

BTW, one function I'd like to have is WiFi, but I've read there's no solution as of now.

Another thing I miss is the "@" character, I've not been able to find how to type it; secondary questions, though.

 

Maybe it's worth noting that Mac OSx's SystemProfiles reports "no built-in audio".

Atfer installation, I've installed ATIX1000.kext, which has an entry in plist with same DeviceId, and I can switch between different resolutions. The same kext with Vanilla core gave me the correct max resolution, but changing it caused a freezing, I've also updated iTunes and it launches correctly even automatically by connecting an iPod, but with no sound at all! (with no audio kext it launched but freezing itself before showing a window).

 

Is there someone who can/want help me? I promise eternal gratitude! (and a return to thank as well).
