szsoft Posted October 23, 2010 Share Posted October 23, 2010 hi everyone, i have installed snow leopard 10.6.4(64bit) yesterday, and got almost everything working, but the pata dvdrw drive still not working for me. i have tried almost all the kexts(patched IOATAFamily, modfied JMicronATA and JMicron36x and even the offical kext from JMicron) , but it just not working. my motherboard is Gigabyte Ga-EP43-US3L PS:i can't find the PATA controller in Everest, just the JMicron 368(SATA), But i do have a PATA port. any ideas?
