My wireless isnt working and everytime i try and access the system preferences page, it quits unexpectedly. i was wondering if anyone out there knew what could be the problem... Compaq NC6230 Specs: Pentium M 750 (1.86 GHz) 1GB DDR-2 533 MHz RAM ATI Mobility Radeon X300 (graphics) Intel ICH-6-M AC'97 (sound) Texas Instruments card reader Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG Broadcom Netxtreme Gigabit Ethernet Install: iPC 10.5.6 distro Kernel: VooDoo 9.5.0 kernel Legacy TimeMachine Fix Drivers: Video: (none) Chipset: Intel ICHx SATA Drivers; LegacyAppleIntelPIIxATA Audio: AC '97 Ethernet: AppleBCM 440X Ethernet Wireless: Intel PRO/Wireless 2200 Driver USB Drivers: Patched USB Drivers Power Management: VooDoo Power Fixes and Patches: ACPI Fix; IOPCIFamily.kext Patched; PS/2 Keyboard Fix (didn't choose PS/2 mouse but this one fixes both) Applications: OSx86 Tools Utility; NTFS 3-G MacFUSE Post Install: AppleACPIBatteryManager.kext (d/l from net, the one included on the iPC disk didn't update battery usage) What works: Built-in keyboard/touchpad (no tapping); Sound up/down/mute buttons (mute button turns off [yellow] by itself but when you open an ap with sound it comes back on); Built-in mic and microphone jack What still doesn't work: Ethernet (as long as I got the wireless working, who cares?); Sleep; ATI X300 GPU; headphone jack; wireless any input would be appreciated...
