I found these settings online and tried to use them. Needless to say they worked. at least most of them. My wireless isnt working and everytime i try and access the system preferences page, it quits unexpectedly. i was wondering if anyone out there knew what could be the problem... hey guys, im new with hackintosh... just trying to see if itll work on this old laptop of mine... i can install the OS X software just fine till it tries to boot up... when my suspect boots up, it only shows the apple logo and a cancel sign right above it... ive tried using different kernels and drivers... to no avail.. ive also tried finding out how to change the ahci from ide to sata but its nowhere to be found on my bios. you might have to reformat your HDD to MAC OS (Journaled) mode in order to get the HDD to be recognized... when you get into the MAC OS X installer, go to Utilities then Disk Utilities if you dont see your hard drive there, then there might be something wrong...
