Bushido Kun Posted October 21, 2010 Share Posted October 21, 2010 Hello Everyone I am Running the Hackintosh iATKOS S3 Ver 2 on (Toshiba Satellite A205-S5803) 15.4"-diagonal widescreen WXGA (1280 x 800) TruBrite LCD screen Intel Pentium dual-core processor T2330 operating at 1.6GHz 1GB of PC2-5300 DDR2 SDRAM memory (2 x 512MB); maximum memory capacity: 2GB 250GB 7200-rpm Serial ATA (SATA) Hitachi hard drive DVD SuperMulti drive with Double Layer support (reads/writes DVD±R/RW, DVD-RAM, DVD±R Double Layer, CD-R/RW) Realtek® 802.11b/g wireless LAN ***NOT WORKING YET*** ExpressCard/54 slot: also compatible with ExpressCard/34 Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 with from 128MB to 251MB 6-cell lithium-ion battery (4000 mAh); 75W universal AC adapter Microsoft® Windows Vista™ Home Basic/ iATKOS S3 Ver 2 So Far I have loaded the Following Software Office for Mac 2011 Adobe CS5 Master Collection Rosetta Stone 3 w/ Japanese lvl 1-3 Divx 7 Here are screen-shots of my Desktop So far everything Works Well. But I am a DJ, so I would Like to Install Serato. But when I Do it goes to ***PLEASE PRESS AND HOLD POWER TO RESTART YOUR SYSTEM*** I do not get a KP, but I can no longer start OSX 10.6.3 I also do not update. I am new to MAC so I have 2 G5 Mac Tower's and have been learning. I would like to know where I could go website to learn about Terminal kext safe mode ***Does not work when I hold shift key*** uninstalling and fixing Kernal Panic, without reinstalling. I do not have a problem reinstalling cause I have other computers I can use. This one happens to be my Wife's Computer. I got her into mac. Well she said she always used mac since high school. So anyways If anyone can help it would be great. ALL PROGRAMS INSTALLED WORK FLAWLESS BUT WOULD LIKE TO GET MY WIFI INSTALLED. I've got a atheros card, but i see you have a realtek one ? As of right now, I am still learning. I only heard about Hackintosh about 4 day's ago. So doing this was something I wanted to check out. Windows aka Winblows i am just sick of it. When I bought my mac (G5 Tower) I was blown away on how it was 2004 and was rock solid. But granted the cost of a Mac Book Pro, was over $1000 used, I was looking for other Options. I will do my best in getting everything to work. If I can get Serato to run without fail. Then that is all I would need. Granted my Boss is willing to Spot me some cash to buy a New/used Mac Book Pro. I'm Looking Forward to that. Okay here shows that the Airport is working. So Why does it not show when I scan for it. Any help would be great.
