dfinnitive
Hey there - and greets from Western Massachusetts: I've done my share of forum prowling, and google searching, and have not found my answers elsewhere, so I feel pretty confident asking about the following: Looking at the HCL for 10.6.2, I found this: ===Satellite L300-PSLB8A=== *Install Method: iAtkos 7i *CPU: Intel Celeron 2.16 GHz *Ram: 1x 2GB Kingston 667MHz DDR2 *Hard Disk: 160GB Western Digital SATA *DVD-RW: Works out of the box *Keyboard, Trackpad: Works with VoodooPS2 (with scrolling etc.) *LAN: Works out of the box *Sound: Works with VoodooHDA.kext *Graphics: Intel GMA 4500MHD works with patched x3100 kext *Wireless: Atheros AR5007EG recognized but not working *4 in 1 Card Reader: Works out of the box *Power Management: Works with VoodooPower.kext & VoodooBattery.kext I was STUNNED to find the mention of a working GMA 4500MHD chipset in this list. I've got the newer version of the same laptop (Toshiba SatPro L450-EZ1510) with the same graphics chipset, and can't do anything more than change the default resolution to match my native screen size (i.e., no QE, no CI). I added the note: ''This listing mentions that the GMA 4500MHD is QE enabled -- does anyone have confirmation of a specific method to do this?'' And, I'm asking the same here. Can ANYONE tell me if there's a specific mod to the x3100 kext that enables QE support on the 4500MHD chipset? Thanks in advance...
