GMA 4500MHD and OSX Compatibility

Hey there - and greets from Western Massachusetts:

 

I've done my share of forum prowling, and google searching, and have not found my answers elsewhere, so I feel pretty confident asking about the following:

 

Looking at the HCL for 10.6.2, I found this:

I was STUNNED to find the mention of a working GMA 4500MHD chipset in this list. I've got the newer version of the same laptop (Toshiba SatPro L450-EZ1510) with the same graphics chipset, and can't do anything more than change the default resolution to match my native screen size (i.e., no QE, no CI).

 

I added the note:

 

''This listing mentions that the GMA 4500MHD is QE enabled -- does anyone have confirmation of a specific method to do this?''

 

And, I'm asking the same here.

 

Can ANYONE tell me if there's a specific mod to the x3100 kext that enables QE support on the 4500MHD chipset?
