GA-P55A-UD3 rev 1.0 F11

Hello every one !!

 

First of all, my configuration :

 

GA-P55A-UD3 rev1.0 bios update to F11 ( was a good idea ? )

GeForce 240GT

I7 870

4go Ram 1333mhz

1To SATA

 

I have already made a install of 10.6.4 on my laptop with the IbootATI+[url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] ( work well without any DSDT :headbang: )

So I decided to install 10.6.4 on my Desktop, so with the IbootNvidia+[url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url], I've make all the install without any kind of problems.

I chose the bios option =>

 

CD in first priority

AHCI

AHCI for the sata disk

HPET on 64

 

With the [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url], i chose :

 

UserDSDT with the one I download on Tonymac ( the GA-P55A-UD3-F11 )

I've put my DSDT on the desktop, remane it DSDT.aml ( I don't know if it's usefull ) and the install look find, I can find him in /Extras/

 

But when I reboot, I always need the [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] to boot on mac ... ( if no booterror )

May I have to change BIOS config ? because nothing change ( CD on first priority, and if I try to put it on second, no kind of boot )

 

So It's one things that I didn't solved.

 

But most important is that, when I reboot on 10.6.4, I have no sound, in syspref->Sound it's only 4 Digital Out.

My ALC is 888 ( I think so, the rev of my MB is 1.0), so I tried the Legalacy888, nothing change, the Voodoo 0.2.2 with 0.2.56 nothing ... I fact, I thing that I have test all the kind of combination possible ( each time I was deleting the old Kext in /S/L/E or /E/E )

So know I really don't know how to do ...

 

The finally idea it's to make my UDJ46 usb plug work ( on a real mac, It's work natively ), it's for control my mixing table ...

 

So if you have any idea, please help me, cause i'm starting to get crazy ( :crazy: )

I did not see you mention that you installed a boot loader so you can boot from your hard drive instead of the [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] disk. I would recommend you use Chameleon Boot loader RC5 search the forums and you can find the install package for it.

 

as for sound, you need to get a copy of AppleHDA.kext from 10.6.2 version of Snow Leopard and use Kext helper b7 to install it on your system.

The 10.6.2 rollback of [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] don't work with me ...
