fedriko Posted October 19, 2010 Share Posted October 19, 2010 I've installed 10.6.4 on an external hard disk using EmpireEFI. I have used chameleon before and I know it works perfect. But as my motherboard supports booting from usb drives, can I use that to boot into hackintosh without installing chameleon or any other boot-loader? Currently i'm using empireEFI cd to boot. my2cents Posted October 23, 2010 Share Posted October 23, 2010 You might want to try osx.mechdrew.com. This site is for netbooks, but I have used the boot CD on an atom desktop board. Any how, they have a method and tutorial on creating a bootable USB stick.
