Hardware:

Intel E8400

Asus Maximus Formula X38

2x 1GB A-Data DDR2 800MHz

Nvidia 8800GT

Bios settings: Default, ACHI mode. Bios Don't have HPET to 64-bit mode setting.

First time when I use Distro full working, I decited to make fresh retail install with ##### supported.

With Distro I create image of Mac OS X 10.6.3 Retail.dmg on second GUID partition, then boot with ##### supported, select HD partition and boot Retail .dmg, after successful install, restart pc with ##### supported in cdrom, Mac OS boot up with welcome screen, etc. after I configure system.

By default audio forks fine, but microphone not. Ethernet doesn't work, graphic settings working in System Preferences, shut down, restart doesnt work properly and About This Mac: Memory show 2 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM, it should be 800 Mhz.

Then I was confused, because I can call self noob on this things.. Later I download Kext Helper b7, find Marvell88E8056.kext and install it, later start Kext Utility, after reboot ethernet works fine.

Then updated system to 10.6.4 and later updates. Works fine after restart.

So what's the problem ? How I can remove/install kexts correctly on my system ? In finder I can't find /Extra folder ? How make system to boot without ##### supported CD ?
