Mett
Hi all! I have installed Windows7 and OSX in the same PC in two different partitions (GUID). If I boot by USB key, all works fine (I can choose to boot with USB, WIN7 or MAC OS X). If I boot with internal HD, first appears Windows Boot Manager with two options (I have created it with easyBCD), Windows7 or MAC OSX. If I choose OSX, Chameleon bootmanager appears with two options (W7 OSX), when I choose OSX nothing happend. The green image of chamaleon still remains on the screen. I boot with -v and the log is: Loaded HFS+ file [system/.........../SystemVersion.plist] Loading Darwin 10.6 Loading kernel mach_kernel Loaded HFS+ file: [mach_kernel] 4096 bytes from 4255910 Loaded HFS+ file: [mach_kernel] 5575273 bytes from 4255910 NO error! Any suggestion?? Thanks...!!!! Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/234649-dual-boot-win7-and-snow-leopard-osx-it-works-for-half/ Share on other sites
oldtopman
Try marking the OSX partition as active. If that doesn't work, undo what you just did and read on. I don't know how to do this but... I believe this is one of those mysterious errors caused by a "chainloadapolloza". Try removing one of the bootloaders. Mett
In other words, the only bootloader which works perfectly is the bootloader from NetBookBoot (in the USB key). How can I istall the same bootloader in the HD? I try to install Chameleon last version but it doesn't work (the loading stops on apple's logo) thanks Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/234649-dual-boot-win7-and-snow-leopard-osx-it-works-for-half/#findComment-1566389 Share on other sites
MacNewb12
Can you share the steps you took in creating this dual boot? I've been looking for a sticky but there is none here. All I have experience with is creating dual boot between Ubuntu and Windows. Thanks.
