I have both Mac OSX 10.6.4 and Windows 7 Ultimate installed on my computer.

Recently I tried to update to the latest chameleon bootloader, now my problem is that I can't boot into OSX..

When I boot with -v, I get told that it failed to locate SMC driver, apparently this can be fixed with FakeSMC, but I can not boot into OSX to add the kext? What can I do? I have full access of Windows.

Very. All that appears is my Windows 7 partition, the only way I can see the OSX is through "Disk Management." And from there, there is nothing I can do, as windows does not recognize HFS+ partition formats

Unless there is another way for me to install fakesmc.kext, it seems like there isn't much that can be done....

You can boot from snow leopard installation disk and use the terminal. If you want to use a linux distro remember that to have write permissions on hfs+ partitions you have to disable journaling (from installation dvd -> disk utility).

Hope this is useful
